I created this video from start to finish for the CNU On the Lawn podcast. I set up the scene, handled the filming, and edited the entire episode. This project reflects my ability to manage both the technical and creative aspects of production, from capturing clean visuals to delivering a polished final product.
As the intern on set, I was involved in every part of creating this video from start to finish. I helped set up each scene and made sure everything looked right before filming began. My support behind the scenes reflects my attention to detail and ability to assist a production team efficiently. This experience also helped me develop a strong understanding of what makes an effective promotional video and how to bring that vision to life.
I assisted with filming footage featured in this video, spending the entire day attending multiple events and capturing moments as they unfolded. I worked on Christopher Newport University’s Family Weekend for two consecutive years, capturing footage for various projects. This experience helped me develop the ability to quickly identify and capture strong shots on the fly while strengthening my skills in anticipating meaningful moments and producing high-quality video across a variety of environments.
I assisted in filming slow-motion footage used to create this reel. I worked on Christopher Newport University’s Homecoming weekend for two consecutive years recording footage for various projects. Throughout the day, I filmed moments across multiple events, focusing on identifying visually engaging shots that translate well in slow motion. This experience strengthened my ability to anticipate key moments, compose shots with intention, and consistently capture smooth, high-quality footage in a fast-moving event environment.
